ALEXANDRA STANDEN
Alexandra Standen is a young emerging Australian artist who’s work embodies how we come to exist within environments and spaces and our relationships to them.
Alexandra creates ceramic sculptural objects that are natural, structural and contained. The works explore the possibilities of arrangement through a collection of related forms and examined ideas of ritual, ordinariness, contemplation and environment.
Alexandra was awarded the Sidney Myer Emerging Ceramic Artist Award, through the Shepparton, Art Museum, VIC
